ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• Directed a research center at the University of Kansas that developed innovative data-driven interventions to transform low-performing schools into high-performing schools
• Served as Principal Investigator, Research Professor and Director of the Schoolwide Equity and Excellence Model (SEEM) Research Center at the Schiefelbusch Institute for Life Span Studies at the University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas
• Wrote and acquired more than 40 million dollars in grant awards for charter schools, magnet schools, the data-driven school transformation model and other innovative projects from the U.S. Department of Education
• Founded TEACH, a K-12 educational consulting agency providing:
1) on-site core-curricular content coaching;
2) on-site whole school transformational change coaching;
3) third-party program evaluation of federal and state grant awards;
4) local, state, and federal grant writing for non-profits and schools,
• Entire career devoted to research-based interventions for improving student achievement for students with special needs and low-performing students.
